Choose a stretch, then follow your curiosity.
Food shops, everyday services and small retailers line this long north–south shopping street. A short browse near Tenma and a full walk from the southern end are different outings; choose the section that fits your day.

Do not make length the goal
The street extends roughly 2.6 kilometres. You need not walk every metre to enjoy it: choose a meal, a specialist shop or a café and browse around that anchor. Allow people shopping locally to pass, and ask before photographing interiors.
Connect it with Tenma and Nakazakicho
Visit Osaka Tenmangu before moving north, then turn toward Nakazakicho if you want independent shops and a seated café break. Businesses keep different days off; the covered stretches do not make the entire walk weatherproof.
