Judo Camp at Tokai University Tsumagoi

August 10–12, 2026 I joined a two-night, three-day judo camp at Tokai University’s Tsumagoi Plateau Training Centre. Spending several days training together made the camp feel like a big adventure. We practised judo, learned from the group and shared time away from home. It was challenging, fun and a memorable way to grow through judo.

Kodokan Youth Judo Summer Course

August 6–8, 2026 I joined the Kodokan Youth Judo Summer Course. Over several days, I trained, listened closely and learned together with other young judoka. It was a valuable experience to practise in a place with such an important connection to judo. I came away with new motivation for the dojo.

Goshuin Journey in Kyoto

July 22–25, 2026 I travelled to Kyoto and collected goshuin from temples and shrines. I bought my goshuincho at Kinkaku-ji and found a case for it at Byodo-in Phoenix Hall. Along the way, I visited Kinkaku-ji, Ginkaku-ji, Ryoan-ji, Nijo Castle, Kiyomizu-dera, To-ji, Yasaka Shrine, Ujigami Shrine, Uji Shrine, Byodo-in Phoenix Hall and Fushimi Inari Shrine. Each place had its own atmosphere, and the stamps became a beautiful record of the journey.

Playing at BørneLund in Osaka

July 21, 2026 In Osaka, I visited BørneLund Asobi no Sekai at Grand Front Osaka. It was a lively place to play, move, build and explore. I enjoyed trying the different activities and spending time in a space made for imagination and active play. It was a bright, fun part of the trip.

Butterfly Practice in Fukuoka

July 18–20, 2026 I travelled to Fukuoka and joined a short swimming course at Dazaifu Swimming Club. I practised the butterfly stroke and worked on the movements that make it flow through the water. It was a great chance to learn in a new place. I enjoyed the training and came away wanting to keep improving my swimming.

Sports Practice in Shanghai

July 8–18, 2026 I travelled to Shanghai and spent time practising basketball, golf and badminton. It was fun to move in different ways and try several sports during one trip. Each activity needed its own skills, but all of them taught me about focus, timing and enjoying practice. Shanghai was full of new experiences.

A Trip to Xiamen

July 3–7, 2026 I travelled to Xiamen and visited Gulangyu Island and the tulou. The scenery, buildings and history made every day of the trip feel full of discovery. Seeing these places in person was exciting. I enjoyed learning through travel and collecting new memories with my family.

Exploring Fuzhou

July 1–3, 2026 I travelled to Fuzhou and explored around Sanfang Qixiang and Youth Square. Walking through the city gave me a chance to see new streets, places and details. I also wore traditional clothing for a photo shoot. It was a beautiful experience and a special way to learn about the atmosphere and culture of the place.

A Second Gymnastics Skills Test

June 21, 2026 I joined another gymnastics skills test. I used what I had been practising and did my best to stay calm and focused through each part. Tests are a chance to notice both the things that feel stronger and the things that need more practice. I enjoyed taking on the challenge.

Skateboarding and Passing 1st Kyu in Karate

June 20, 2026 I practised skateboarding at Yumenoshima Skateboard Park, and later I took a karate promotion test. It was a full day with two very different kinds of challenges. I passed the karate test for 1st kyu. I was very happy with the result and proud that I kept my focus through such a busy day.
