What the experience involves

The branch offers private-room plans in a setting close to Asakusa’s best-known landmark. A short session can fit around a walk through the area, while a longer booking leaves more time to settle in. Choose a duration that suits your group, including children who may be unfamiliar with animals.

Let the pigs approach in their own time and follow staff guidance. A particular animal or a particular interaction cannot be guaranteed. The booking notice says a solo guest’s session is with one pig.

Session prices and reservations

The official private-room booking page lists per-person prices for ages six and over of ¥1,750 for 15 minutes, ¥2,500 for 30 minutes and ¥4,300 for 60 minutes. For ages two to five, the corresponding prices are ¥1,100, ¥1,700 and ¥2,700. Children aged zero or one enter free. These prices include tax and free-flow drinks.

Optional feeding costs extra. Reserve online for the Asakusa branch and read the conditions attached to that booking. Branch-specific instructions are more useful than a general description of the chain.

Interacting with the pigs

The Asakusa booking notice prohibits picking up, chasing, kicking or otherwise distressing the pigs. The chain’s FAQ allows photographs and video but prohibits flash and livestreaming. Ask the staff about any planned filming beyond a personal record of your visit.

Only give food supplied and approved by the staff. The operator says animals are monitored and moved to a separate room to rest when needed. Treat that as the operator’s stated practice, and let staff manage any interaction.

Before you book

The reservation notice includes entry restrictions connected with recent travel, livestock contact, pig ownership and illness. Read the current list before reserving, particularly if you have recently arrived in Japan or visited a farm. Children of elementary-school age and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

The café is on the third floor at 1-17-4 Asakusa, near Kaminarimon. Published opening hours are 09:00–19:00, with year-end and New Year exceptions. If you require step-free access or space for mobility equipment, ask the branch to confirm the route and room arrangement.
