A different pace from Ohori
The garden traces its origins to a retreat for Kuroda Tsugutaka. The pleasure lies in looking across the pond and noticing trees, stones and the building’s relationship with the water. A short visit can be rewarding without adding a long list of nearby attractions.
Allow for the bus journey
Yusentei is not next door to Ohori Park. Leave a separate travel block and check your return connection. Tea service or use of a tea room has its own arrangements; confirm current availability if that is the main reason for your visit.
