Choose the exhibition, then the route
The collection spans different periods and media; not every well-known work is on display at all times. Compare the current collection rooms and special exhibitions before buying. A special show may have separate ticket conditions from the collection.
Look at the building too
The museum reopened after renovation in 2019. Its park setting makes an art-and-walk combination particularly easy, but do not confuse it with Fukuoka Asian Art Museum in Hakata or Fukuoka City Museum in Momochi. Each has a different collection and closing calendar.
