Look at how the buildings worked
The warehouses were built for rice storage, with trees and roof design contributing to the storage environment. They finished their agricultural-storage role in 2022. Look from the open visitor areas; the historic exteriors do not imply that warehouse interiors are generally accessible.
Do not follow the old shopping itinerary
Sakata Yume-no-Kura left this site in 2025, and the rice-history museum is closed while building safety is checked. Use the information centre and exterior walk as the current basis of the visit. Respect any works-related diversions on the tree-lined path.
