Browse a building filled with small melodies.

This well-known main building is principally a music-box retail destination. Browse the different objects and sounds at your own pace, and distinguish it from the separate antique collection and making workshop before planning a visit.

Look before choosing an object

Browse the building’s different sections before deciding what to buy. Ask staff about operation and packing if taking a delicate music box home. The shop setting is the experience here; the English name should not be read as a promise of a conventional exhibition-only museum.

Do not confuse the branches

The No. 2 Antique Museum is at 6-13 Sakaimachi, while the Yukobo workshop is at another address. Demonstrations or hands-on making require checking the relevant branch. The main building pairs naturally with Kitaichi Glass and a canal walk.
