Bring a little Japanese kitchen home.

This kitchenware district rewards browsing: ceramics, cooking tools, knives and convincing food models fill specialist shops. Choose one useful object to look for, then leave room for the unexpected.

Browse with a purpose

The district has around 160 businesses. Compare bowls, chopstick rests and utensils across a few shops before deciding; fragile ceramics need room in your luggage.

Add a hands-on stop

Book Ganso Shokuhin Sample-ya separately if you want to make food samples. A shopping trip does not include a workshop, and participation has age and language requirements. Keep your shopping time flexible around the reservation.
