Ikebukuro · Architecture & heritage
A quieter space behind Ikebukuro.

Explore at a measured pace
This protected historic building rewards close looking. We suggest treating it as a dedicated architecture stop, with time to move between the hall and the rooms that are open that day.
Add a cup of tea
The refreshment ticket includes coffee or tea and baked goods in the hall or dining room. It accompanies a building visit; there is no independently operating café.
Check access and photography rules
Weddings and room rentals can restrict opening. The building has steps and stairs: consult the accessibility guidance if needed. Video, tripods, selfie sticks and commercial photography are prohibited for ordinary visitors.
