Osaka · Namba / Hozenji Yokocho
A small temple amid the evening streets.
Hozenji offers a compact pause in the Namba district, with the water-splashed Fudo figure and the nearby lanes giving the visit its character. Separate a respectful temple stop from dinner in the surrounding restaurants.

Leave space at the Fudo figure
This is a place of worship within a busy entertainment district. Observe how visitors approach and follow signs around water offerings. Do not block the path while taking photographs. Office services have limited hours even though the precinct remains accessible.
Choose dinner independently
The surrounding Hozenji Yokocho lanes contain small restaurants with their own menus, budgets and booking policies. A temple visit does not require a restaurant reservation; dinner may. The photograph shows the adjoining lane rather than the Fudo statue.
