Make coffee a proper stop.

Inoda’s main shop is a place to sit down between central Kyoto’s museums and shopping streets. Allow time for the café itself instead of using it only as a quick refuelling point.

Choose the main shop deliberately

Inoda has several branches. This guide is for the main shop on Sakaimachi, south of Sanjo, not the nearby Sanjo branch. If meeting friends, send the full address as well as the café name.

Leave room between museum bookings

The early opening makes coffee before a museum a practical option. At busier times, keep a buffer for waiting and ordering; avoid placing a timed attraction immediately after your café stop. Check current food options and prices on the official menu rather than relying on an old photograph.
