Shinjuku Half-Day Walk

Walk from a neighbourhood shrine east of the station to the skyline views on the west. Allow time to navigate Shinjuku’s crossings and station passages; a simple route is more enjoyable than a packed checklist here.

Budget
No admission charge for the core stops; meals extra

Omoide Yokocho is an optional food stop near the west side of the station; shop opening times, seating and charges vary. It is not required to complete the walk. For the observatory, check the tower calendar before setting out and do not assume Mount Fuji will be visible.
