Harajuku
Step from Harajuku into ukiyo-e.
A small museum devoted to ukiyo-e offers a different pace just off Harajuku’s busy streets. Plan around the current exhibition, with time to examine the details of individual prints.

Check the display dates
Exhibitions can have multiple terms with a short closure between them. A work pictured online may belong to only one part of a show. The calendar is more useful than assuming a standard weekly opening pattern.
Bring cash and leave time
Admission and shop purchases are cash-only under the museum’s current guidance. Weekends and the final days of a show can be busy. Pair it with a relaxed Harajuku walk rather than squeezing it between fixed reservations.
