Ginza

Look closely at the design around you.

Known as ggg, this compact gallery specialises in graphic design. Its changing exhibitions give posters, typography and visual communication the attention they rarely receive in everyday life.

Let the current show lead

The gallery hosts Japanese and international designers. Check the exhibition theme before coming; the specific work changes, so the archive is useful inspiration rather than a list of objects permanently on view.

Pair viewing with making

After a close look at colour, letterforms and composition, continue to Itoya for paper and drawing materials. A weekday or Saturday works better for this pairing because ggg normally closes on Sundays and public holidays.
