Itoshima, Fukuoka · Ramen & noodle making

Follow a bowl of ramen back to its source.

In the green surroundings of Itoshima, Ichiran brings its ramen restaurant, production base and brand museum together. See a small part of the noodle-making process, browse the story behind the bowl, then sit down for tonkotsu ramen.

See a working ramen destination

The museum introduces Ichiran’s history and approach through photographs and illustrations. Public viewing reveals only a small part of noodle production; the production areas themselves are restricted. Plan for a self-guided look, with no guided factory tour included.

Make time for lunch

The restaurant serves Ichiran’s pork-bone ramen. Table seating is available, while the individual flavour-concentration counter is currently used only on weekends and public holidays. Arrive well before last order: busy days can bring an earlier entry cut-off.

Build it into an Itoshima outing

We suggest combining the stop with a wider Itoshima itinerary and checking your transport home before lunch. Groups of ten or more should use the official advance registration form; registration does not reserve restaurant seats.
