Asakusa · Candy craft

A fleeting moment. A tiny sculpture.

Amezaiku turns warm candy into intricate shapes before it hardens. At Ameshin’s Hanakawado location, a rabbit-making workshop offers a hands-on introduction to this fast-moving craft.

Try shaping a rabbit

The workshop introduces how to shape a small rabbit from candy. Working time is short once the candy leaves the heat: listen closely to the instructor and treat the process as part of the experience.

Choose the right branch

Hanakawado hosts workshops and displays, with some items available for purchase. Tokyo Solamachi is a separate shop. A shop visit and a reserved workshop are different plans.
